At Pembroke School of Performing Arts, we believe in providing our students an opportunity to grow in many and all creative ways both on and off stage. Featured on this page are our current student leaders for the 2007-2008 dance season.
Becky:
Class assistant
Becky has been a member of our dance family since early childhood years. She is currently a member of the Sr. Company & Dance Team. She has performed at the Integrated Arts Festival at Bridgewater State College. This July Becky has attended ADA Nationals and through her efforts help her team win a High Silver, Ultimate Gold and a Team Unity Award. Becky was a favorite assistant during our Summer Dance Program for Angelina Ballerina Mini Camp and Open Hip Hop. In 2004 Becky attended Dance America Nationals in Las Vegas helping her team win several awards she was also a dancer in the Melinda Caroll Concert held at Bridgewater State College. Becky recently appeared in the 38th annual Arts Festival donating her time, energy and talents. Beckys' talents are not limited to dance, she often spills over into assisting with the studio newsletters as well.
Ashley:
Class Assistant
Ashley has been a member of our dance family since early childhood years. She is currently a member of the Sr. Company & Dance Team. Ashley appeared in the opening number for the Melinda Caroll Concert held at Bridgewater State College, has danced with Bridgewater State College Kaleidoscope Dance Ensemble and Integrated Arts Festival.. Last summer Ashley attended Nationals in Las Vegas with Dance America and received a first place national award for an trio dance piece "A capella" .This July Ashley has attended ADA Nationals and through her efforts help her team win a High Silver, Ultimate Gold and a Team Unity Award. Ashley also appeared in the 38th annual Pembroke Arts Festival August 7 & 8 2005.
Erin: Class Assistant
Erin, like her sister has been a member of our dance family since early childhood years. She is a Sr. Company member and an experienced class assistant. She has performed at the Integrated Arts Festival at Bridgewater State College. Erin was a dancer in the opening dance piece for the Melinda Caroll Concert held at Bridgewater State College. She is a past Dance Team member competing in Dance America Nationals in Las Vegas in 2004 helping her team receive various awards and recognition. Erin recently volunteered her talents to appear in the 38th annual Pembroke Arts Festival this past Aug 7 & 8.
Amanda: Class Assistant
Amanda is a long time member of our dance family and member of the Sr. Company and past member of the Dance Team also competing at the national level at Dance America Las Vegas 2004. Additionally, Amanda performed at the Melinda Caroll Concert at Bridgewater State College. Amanda received recognition for her own choreography during PSPA Student Choreography and later performed her piece at the Pembroke Arts Festival.
Devon:
Class Assistant
Devon is member of our Sr. Company and her credits include dancing the opening number in the Melinda Caroll Concert held at Bridgewater State College. She has performed with the Bridgewater State College Kaleidoscope Dance Ensemble and the Pembroke Arts Festival. Devon is a member of the Dance Team and this July she has attended ADA Nationals and through her efforts help her team win a High Silver, Ultimate Gold. Devon has also volunteered for time as an assistant for our Summer dance Program Angelina Ballerina this August.
Marissa: Class Assistant
Marissa is member of our Sr. Company and her credits also include dancing the opening number in the Melinda Caroll Concert held at Bridgewater State College. Marissa is a member of the Dance Team and this July she has attended ADA Nationals and through her efforts help her team win a High Silver, Ultimate Gold. Marissa volunteered her time, talent and energy to perform in the 38th annual Pembroke Arts Festival this past Aug 7 & 8. Marissa also volunteered her time to assist in our Angelina Ballerina Camp this August.
Emily:
Class Assistant
Emily has been a member of our dance family since early childhood years. She is currently a member of the Sr. Company & Dance Team. Johanna:
Johanna has been a member of our dance family since early childhood years. She is currently a member of the Sr Company & Dance Team. Johanna has danced with Bridgewater State College Kaleidoscope Dance Ensemble and Integrated Arts Festival.. Last summer Johanna attended Nationals in Las Vegas with Dance America and received a first place national award for an trio dance piece "A capella" .This July she attended ADA Nationals and through her efforts help her team win a High Silver, Ultimate Gold and a Team Unity Award. Johanna also appeared in the 38th annual Pembroke Arts Festival August 7 & 8 2005.
New Class Assistants for 2007-2008 include Ali Y, Merser, Emily B. and Michaela.
